Origin will scan your computer

Ea's new "Steam like" marketplace Origin that is the only way to play many EA games like Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2, and Battlefield 3. Many people in eGO have this, BUT a few days ago the fourm team of the Escapist found that Origin Scans all of your computer and data. think thats bad enough? Your WRONG. They use that info from your computer to ADVERTISE stuff at you. So remember EA knows what applications you use the most, everything you've downloaded and all those embarrassing photos of you in your underwear playing dance central on your kinect.

I'd rather have targeted advertising that I could possibly care about instead of lame ads that are miles away from my interests. And I'm not worried about Origin having access to infos about me. It's not like EA is hunting for terrorists or planning New World Order along with the templars, guys. Just chill out, that legal mumbo jumbo is broad so that EA can talk its way out of every lawsuit. No dark scheme here.

Plus, let's not forget ToR. BF3 will not be alone to hold the candle.

Funny thing is, had an argument with my friend about this recently and I used this same counterpoint. And I don't see what EA is gonna do with what my specs are, heck I'll tell anyone, it's not that a big deal.
