extra skill shot/aoe range?

Has anybody noticed AoE or skillshots having extra range? I just got absolutely dominated by a brand and karthus. Also, I foudn this video of hotshot getting hit my Nunu's ult out of its range, but be warned it is Hotshot so there is QQ and language

Haven't noticed it much on many characters, but it is very noticeable when it comes to Caitlyn's traps. Their radius has almost doubled.

One of my friends rage quit when he was solo top vs a duo garen cait combo, the next game he asked me to ban cait because of her traps, he said he could not push past the choke without 1 of the 3 traps hitting him.

Noticed it when laning vs Cho'gath. His rupture was hitting me even though I'd be well out of range. Seemed like double the radius.
