Hey guys,
So as you may have noticed, our clan numbers in game have increased pretty drastically in the recent weeks. We started as 5, and we are now 23. Truthfully 21, because 2 are "smurf" accounts of current clannies. I have talked things over with some fellow advisors, and we have figured out a recruiting policy for HoN. As you all know, HoN has a clan system. Not many games have a clan system like HoN does, so we have to adjust the rules a little to accommodate this.
eGO's HoN recruiting policy is as follows:
"All eGO members are allowed to recruit players from HoN into eGO. With that being said, only "Officers" in the clan are actually allowed to send players the invite (per HoN clan structure).
Said new recruit can be given a clan invite, and is allowed to join the clan immediately on the condition that they post an application and are accepted into eGO within one week of joining the eGO HoN clan. Since there is no HoN section of eGO yet, they will be asked to join the Strat division.
If said new recruit DOES NOT post an application within one week, he is to be kicked from the HoN clan. If said new recruit posts an application and it was denied, he is to be kicked from the HoN clan. If said new recruit posts an application and it has not yet been processed, we are to wait for the result of said application. If it is accepted, he/she stays, if it is denied they are to be kicked from the HoN clan.
When an eGO member has recruited a HoN player into eGO and invited them into the HoN clan, they are required to post that player's IGN and Date of Joining (ex. _Gandalf_---8/28/11) in the thread "eGO's HoN Recruits". Once posted, _Gandalf_ will keep up to date on the said recruit's status within eGO, and will take the action necessary based on above rules.
If the player has been kicked, then he/she can only be re-invited to the clan if he has already been accepted into eGO via the application process."
Also, it's probably a good idea to inform them once they join that they should find the HoN forum on the website (direct them to it if possible) and post their IGN, as well as post in general.
I will attach a list of new recruits within HoN to this thread along with their status. Go out and recruit!!!
