System Monitor

I was wanting to know what system monitor people are using and what is monitors. Mainly i use core temp cpu-z then my CCC for temps and stuff on my gfx cards... ive also use hardware monitor... with that all being said i was wondering if there was 1 thing that i can use, and it look cool ... im wanting something that shows temps of gfx cards and cpu/loads on cpu and ram/ those sorts of things...

I just use HW Monitor and CPU-Z. Does the job.

HWMonitor for all my general temps. Then I use CPU-Z as well as CoreTemp and one other which i can't remember the name of to compare the temperatures.

PCWizard, try it out it has a desktop app that when you minimize PCwizard it will show up good for monitoring temps in you have dual monitors, it has built in benchmark software but its not that great. You can customize the hardware monitor to show temps of almost anything.

I use my macbook pro 15" and don't worry about silly things like heat and available resources....

Oh man, did I just become one of "THOSE" computer users... dang.

On my old PC I had an external system monitor hooked up w/ temperature probes that could control the fans... between that and the BIOS controls I never really worried about anything else.

I'm not "worried" about heat or availible resources Im just tryin to find something that looks cool and has everything I want all in one... My pc can handle anything thrown at it. Pc wizard is a new one for me I'll have to check that out

I use gpu-z and Coretemp

Another program for the gpu is msi afterburner, it works well for overclocking and looks a lot nicer than CCC imo. I usually only monitor temps when i make changes in my PC either with my overclocks, adding new hw, or cleaning it out.

thanks smoochee thats what ive been lookin for... at least GPU wise..temps and usages for bothe gpus at the same time... so now i dont have to switch between the 2...and it has alot more stuff than i need which i like...although ive read some where about afterburner and punkbuster dont get along has anyone had problems with this

This is true of any GPU monitoring program.

Any game with punkbuster (PB) will hardlock when PB tries to access registries in the GPU memory while a GPU monitoring program is running such as AfterBurner AB or Trixx or GPUz.

As for monitoring solutions, I mostly use AIDA64, which can monitor everything I need it to (CPU/RAM/GPU usage, CPU/GPU temps, system voltages, etc). It's pretty much a one stop shop.

MSI Afterburner (when not playing BC2!) for GPU Usage, Fan speed, and Temperature on an overlay in game.
