Harassment, of any form, is NOT permitted in eGO!
EdgeGamers is one of the largest, if not the largest, gaming community present today. Due to the sheer size and age diversity found here, there are bound to be incidents of harassment coined, "e-Bullying".
One of the main ideals behind EdgeGamers is maturity. Self-control is a sign of that maturity. We've all found ourselves in situations where we are face to face with people we do not necessarily like. However, as members of this community, it is expected that you will "take the high road" and learn to tolerate people instead of purposefully antagonizing them.
Incidents have arisen that have led to members leaving eGO with hurt and resentful feelings. These people felt victimized and/or harassed by others. Although Leadership condemns this kind of behavior against anyone, its ugly head seems to come through the doors every now and again.
EdgeGamers prides itself on the fact that we are the hosts of a wide variety of age groups. From our youngest member, aged 4 years old, to our oldest, who is over 70, there is absolutely no room for any unseemly behavior towards any other member and/or pubber.
How do you know when it is harassment?
Simply, ask yourself these two questions:
A) Are you doing it just to get some sort of response out of them?
B) Are you doing it, fully knowing that they won't like it?
We have taken a firm stance against harassment and e-Bullying and hope that you will follow suit and take a stand yourselves. As a result, you'll become better members and better persons while giving the gaming community yet another reason to believe that EdgeGamers is the best community in the gaming world.
