Will you Play MW3?

He's talking about its made by the same engine.
Going to wait until after it comes out and see how broken it is. Might be fun as a just messing around game, or for co op. I'm looking forward more to Space Marine, and I'm not going to get it if it cuts into time for a game I'm expecting to be good.

Not true. MW2 utilizes the in-house IW 4.0 game engine. Whereas treyarch uses an enhanced World at War engine. Totally differnet feel to game play.

Nope. I don't plan on buying another CoD until they actually make a good game. Maybe take 2-3 years to develop one this time? Kthanks.
It's like sports games that have to come out every year. What do they add? New plays, maybe a mode or a better version of a previous mode. Maybe improved graphics (though you won't notice too much unless you look at say.. one from 2010 vs the new 2012 if not a 2009 vs 2012..). What have they really done to change CoD? I'm disappointed in the CoD series. CoD 2 and CoD 4 were the best they made. WaW felt like a mod of CoD 4 (still was fun.. just lacked). Never touched MW2. Figured I'd try Blops.. mistake..

I was saying yes a few months ago but then BF3 seems draw-dropping and then CS:GO. Most likely, I gotta wait for reviews to see if its even worth it because I already own MW2 and BLOPS, not gonna spend 60$ for another game that is almost the same.
For now, 70% not buying it, but definitely wanna try it at a friends house or gamestop.

who made it means nothing about what im talking about. The models are getting worse. Even if someone else took over the franchise, you would expect things to get better. and besides, mw2 looks better than blops imo.
IW 3.0, IW 4.0 now IW 5.0, which aren't even their "engines" they just modify tech 3. models should be getting better. the lighting on them makes them look like plastic figurines. It even looks like they are using less polygons to make up for dynamics. They need to get off their tech 3 fix. Thats like valve still using source. its old, we need to progress.

Very hard to up polygon counts when they are console based. They always strive for 60 fps constant on an xbox 360, which could only take low settings on oblivion which i mind you is a very old game by today's standards.
Also it costs lots of money to up polygons in models. So they go for the cheapest way to make the most money.

On the fence whether or not I'll get MW3. Right now, the answer is No.
Too many good games coming out in the next few months, between preparing for the military and actually wanting to play a couple games A LOT... along with my full time job .. I'll have no spare times for lesser (imo) games like MW3.

I will be buying it for the single player campaign only, couldn't ever get into multiplayer. I'll stick to BF3 for that!

is it just me or are the pl_models getting worse?
Each game has a different rendering engine, so of course it will look different. Getting worse though. It's noticeable.
I'll be waiting for prices to drop before getting it. I only recently got myself MW2, and I won't be looking forward to ranking up all over again from scratch, even if there is like 3 new weapons. -.- The only things I would look forward to is seeing what happened to Price/Soap and the Spec Ops mode.

I'm getting it both for the story, and the multiplayer. I'm hoping this one isn't ravaged by self-absorbed 5 year olds. Seriously, on Black Ops for the Xbox, I went to 10 different games. In each one, I came across kids who probably didn't even know what sex is but were firing off the word, "******", like a homophobic machine gun.
