Kicked for clan tag?

Just a few minutes ago I was on the Jail server and was kicked for having a clan tag. I have been playing for months with my clan tag and never had an issue before until today. I see no rules stating you can't have a clan tag, so I do not see why I was kicked.

I'm not sure what this is about, but from my understanding, eGO members cannot have anything in front of their tag, steam groups included.

While in eGO servers, and even outside of them, while wearing our tag you are representing eGO. It is in our rules that you have no other clan tag in front of the =(eGO)=™ tag. This is to show that eGO is the clan you are representing and you are proud to be a member.

Edgegamers has always had an "eGO first" policy when it comes to clan tags.

Taken directly from the start here thread :

Do not add a clan tag, i.e. =(e)=?, =(eG)=?, =(eGO)=?, or any other clan's tag, to your forum name.
However, while in-game, EdgeGamers members must have our tag in front and any other clan tag at the back of the player name.

Hope that clears it up, as for having it for months, admins should know this is not how we wear our names.
