Clear this issue up for me...

I was being destroyed by Kar user's on Donner, I typed Kar Hor's into chat. I was told watch the language by a member.

Now here is the question?

HL Stats keeps track stats for every player on these servers, it also issue's 5 daily awards for certain accomplishments: Shovel God, Area Captures, Grenade freak, and with out futher ado.. MP Hor, Kar Hor.

I'm fine with being told to watch language, but not fine with being told to watch language with something HL gives 5 daily awards to. It get really annoying when you explain that " you might be taking what I said out of context", and the response is "those are the rules."

Clear up this issue for me please..

depends on who the admin is at the time some will tell you to watch it some will let it slide some admins are laid back some are hardassed its all on them realy whats slides and what dosnt

Blood, I understand your concern and the rule is that if the word is not blocked by the word filter then is more than likely ok. Any attempt to circumvent the word filter is against the rules.

In your case, I understand that the daily awards has a title of "Hor" in some of the names (believe it or not there is no "KAR hor" in the awards). One can interpret that as an insult or derogatory comment directed at another player in game.

The admin was doing his/her best to prevent that. If the admin present has a problem with it don't take it personal, just play, have fun and move on.

It's just a game, lets not get trivial and caught up with little things. See on on the battle field.

speaking of which, are all the swear filters on all the servers the same?

Seen a few get by here and there on some servers but not on others, unless I just don't see it.

Doesn't look like there is a swear filter on ava because I can see everything they wright.

The issue is, like Cole said, that saying it to another player can easily be taken as an insult, while only the most sensitive would take it as an insult coming from a stats site.
