i know theres a way to do a offline private server

i understand theres a way to do a private offline(undedicated) server,but im not sure how too

oh in wich tf2 folder do i put custom maps ??

reason why i ask is because i wanna try out a map and have friends join me

plus if i like it,i could do a tf2 party like thing every 1nce in awhile

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[username]\team fortress 2\tf\maps

Just paste the map file in there and it will be there when you start up TF2.

To load a map just open up console and type 'map *map_name*'.

for example: id hit tilde from the start menu and type in 'map arena_well' or 'map ctf_turbine'
