There's an awesome new map on the KK Custom server - dod_kolsch. Here's a few screenshots:

It's a pretty big file - so you'll need to download it from here:

You'll need Winrar to open the file, but it's not that hard to install. Just extract all the files into your :\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\"yourusername"\day of defeat source\dod - folder.

I strongly recommend giving this map a shot, it's well worth it. Hope to see you guys there! :D
 
Kolsch is an incredible map! Everyone needs to play it, I demand it!
 
Yeah.. that's indeed the best looking and most realistic map I've ever played. I can strongly recommend to download it and to give it a try... now wait, I demand you do so! :D

The realism in this map is just incredible! There are quite a few things in it that existed or exist in the original city of Cologne.. like the cathedral, the destroyed bridge (with that little towers in front of it) or the fountain at the allied spawn. It's just stunning.

Besides the beauty and realism of the map it is just a damn fun to play it. The layout is great - you can access a lot of the buildings (but not too much) and the paths are well set.

So please ppl.. give it a try and I bet you'll fall in love with this map! :)

Its simply awe inspiring... Its far more realistic and "to scale" than other maps. It looks like a big map but plays both ways.

I demand it gets it's own server! No? Ok...
 
This map is absolutely and totally incredible. HIGHLY recommend it. In fact, it'd probably make a good 24/7 server map even.

We're going to have an official eGO event on it shortly... so you better get it early. :)
 
Incredible map, but unforunate for me since I cant download winrar. Since you have to pay for it, makes it out of the question. Have fun on the map guys.

you can download a free trial bro.....i've been using mine for a year now lol!!

Anyhow, best looking map I've ever seen in DoD....period....and it plays very well to boot. We'll try and get an installer in the downloads section of our site to make it easier for everyone.

Once enough people have it, we can start running it more regularly. It will of course be running on or lovely custom server at: 8.12.18.103:27015
 
I can vouch for kolsch, it looks amazing and still keeps a high fps, I don't know how it does it. You never drop any frames on it at all, freaky. The file is pretty big but I managed to download it in a few minutes, it's worth it guys.
