can someone please explain to me how my wifi card works when my pc is on its side but not when its standing up?

ughhhh, when i hve my case standing upright wifi card does not work/activate no matter wat i do, when i hve it on its side the wifi card works without any problems

it sounds like a fragile connection, have you inserted it properly and tight? otherwise you get the problem what you have now

Check the wiring, make sure nothing's creating a possible short. Beyond that, I have no clue. You could try using a TP-Link 150, a usb wifi adapter that's pretty much plug and play. Cost me about $20 and signal was excellent.
