God help me I've tried, but I just can't handle Guinness or any other Irish brew I've tried. Comes off bitter to me. Smithwicks seems like a lighter cousin (which is understandable since it's made by Guinness) but again the bitter taste gets me.

IDK about other Irish brews, but Guinness comes off VERY bitter to me.
