Alright.... i have 2 6950's that i have had unlocked and flashed to a 6970 bios...latley i have been reading that you can overclock more with just a shader unlock bios for the 6950...so i reflashed both of them to just the unlocked shaders...however in CCC its limited to 840 core and 1325 memory....where as b4 i could get 950 core and 1450 memory...the reason that i switch to this instead of keeping the 6970 bios was that people were reaching higher overclocks with this bios...(got them both under water now :thumbup1: )mainly do to the fact that the 6950's and 6970' are identical except for the memory is rated higher for the 6970...(different timings,etc)....what im getting at is ive looked all over for some way to overclock more then CCC lets me...but the catch is BC2 has punkbuster and punkbuster hates 3rd party gpu programs... i.e. afterburner, asus smart doctor, sapphire trixx....its all over the web how when using these and playing bc2 ur computer either locks up or u get BSOD...
does anyone know how to edit the bios (RBE) or CCC so that i can go farther?
