Okay, I just bought this off amazon, and I did no background research on it, the only thing I looked at was the reviews, and they were just mediocre. Did I make a good by for $25? I mean I know it's not the newest one... But I wasn't gonna pay hundreds of dollars for a mouse. Upgrading from a 3 button keep HP mouse to something like that should make a big different...

Question is did I make a good buy?

Microsoft's pared-down SideWinder X5 Mouse is supposed to offer PC gamers a lower-cost version of its award-winning higher-end model. Instead, it comes across as flimsy and overly stripped down. Other mice deliver better control for the same price.

Basicly, logitech has mouses for same price with way better qualities then this. I had the mouse it's not bad but not best bang for the buck.

I bought this mouse when it first came out and I love it. It fits my hand perfectly, i like the 3 changeable dpi settings, and its pretty robust (it survives my 2 year old). I spent more than 25 dollars for it some time ago so i have to say it is worth the 25 dollars you spent.

Thanks to both of you and your responses. Well I ordered it off the internet, coming in a couple of days, we'll see if I made a good buy for now, I'll try for the Logitech g5 or whatever it's called for the G500 next time. Cause I heard those were nice too. But this one hopefully withstands a wear of gaming. Thanks once again :)

try the logitech G700 =D. Tell me what you think of it + could you do an unboxxing of that?
