Painting some old game consoles

I was wondering if you guys give me suggestions on what kind of paint jobs I could give my old stuff, some simple solid colors to two-tones to... whatever. Just about anything.

Story is, I've been looking around on the net lately, and I've seen some pretty cool things. A lot of dudes have put some great effort into spicing up some of their old game consoles with automotive paint and some wax, and maybe the odd glass panel or LEDs.

As for the particular consoles, lets just say it that the first ones that come to mind are most likely the ones I have.

In particular, these are some of the things I'm looking to paint:

Nintendo/NES
Super Nintendo/SNES
SEGA Genesis and SEGA Genesis II
Game Gear
GameBoy
GameBoy Color
SEGA 32x
SEGA CD (model 2)
SEGA Saturn
Nintendo 64
PSone (with LCD screen)
SEGA Dreamcast
Playstation 2 Slim
GameCube w/ Game Boy Player
Xbox

I've provided links to images of every console listed, to give you guys an idea as to what they look like.

This also includes all available controllers with the systems, because trust me--I have them. I'm also willing to paint a handful of cartridges, since some of them--such as [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io_-6fASkSw"]Mario/Duck Hunt[/ame]--could use some spicing up. So yeah, any suggestions you have for any colors (or mixes of colors) per system, please just let me know.

Of course, you'd be the first to make what I'm already guessing will be the worst suggestion.

I'd never paint them, I've always wanted to collect classic consoles for the nostalgia value for when I'm old and gray, but if you insist...

I'd say an NES is the most customization friendly since its frame is blocky and doesn't really have many nooks and crannies to bother with, the same goes for the classic playstation and its remodel the PS One.

NES I'd paint classic Famicom style Red and Gold.

SNES

Playstation Classic I'd give a black and blue paint job with some cool decal

Dreamcast i'd go with a a Power Stone decal and paintjob to match.

Guess I did say that. Don't pay too much mind to it though, I don't really have any limitations here. Just keep in mind that I'll be using (expensive) automotive paint for the job, so I'm trying to keep the colors limited.
