Team Fortress 2 Admin Round Table

Admin Round Table!

What's an Admin Round Table you ask? Did we not just have a clan meeting the other day? Allow us to enlighten you!

"In the 7th Century, the legendary King Arthur summoned his knights, barons and nobles to feast with him and discuss ways to promote the ideals of chivalry and goodness. Instead of sitting at a normal long table in which one or two members were the "heads" of that table, King Arthur had a round table created. This idea of the "round table" was implemented in order to make everyone who met for the discussions equal in stature. Instead of meeting with kings, knights or nobles, these individuals came together as equals to discuss the future of their kingdom. Everybody was able to speak his mind without fear of repercussions."

That's exactly what we want for our Admin Round Table. We will come together not as eGs, eGOs or members of leadership, but as a united division! It's a chance for everyone to come and discuss what's currently going on within the division! To meet other members of the admin team! To share and discuss your ideas for potentially making a change. It's your opportunity to move the TF2 division forward and to help realize its full potential!

Please come prepared to share items that matter to you! We highly value your input and hope to see everyone there! If you feel you have a topic to address but want to submit it anonomously, feel free to send a PM to either Reverend_Rhah or spidEY.

That is exactly correct. Topics suggested by our admins will be discussed. This is not a division meeting were we listen to the latest updates from leadership. It's a place for open discussion and a chance to submit ideas and have everyone discuss them without anyone knowing who submitted them.

Good or Bad. We want to know what our admins have to say. It's a chance to meet other admins from other servers that perhaps you have not met. To come together as a team and send feedback directly to leadership.

eGO is about community. This is one extra way in which community can come together and create a better eGO.

The bigger question in my mind is who is going to sit at the head of the table? Where *is* the head of the table's chair anyway?

This is a divisional Admin Round Table. So why we will hosting it in TF2. But anyone is allowed to come and we will discuss any topics submitted by all. All leadership will be able to see the results of the topics discussed. So if its about eGO in general the result whether will be the same despite what division it comes from.

That's the point. No head of the table. There will be the organizers but they are not necessarily leadership. Just someone to keep everyone organized. At this meeting there will be no rank.

One more thing. There have been questions as to how our topics are anonymous when me and Spidey are leadership. I was not a member of leadership when I started working on the project. For now you will have to trust us that we will not share who sends us topics. All PM's sent to us are deleted after we update the topics document.

We are working on a document that will let everyone submit topics anonymously and it will automatically update to the topics document. The way we have it now is only temporary.
