i've been getting this today, don't know if anyone encounter this thing too.
anyways, any advice on this? do i have to thoroughly scan my computer? or do i just ignore this?

thanks before,
Ziant

its probably the chrome your running did you try scanning your comp with Malwarebytes its free download and its works very good :http://www.malwarebytes.org/
also try using Firefox it scan sites first before you can enter them...:)

p.s its also talking about the banner witch are the ad the site is running. I for one don't even click them anyway and ego has no control on what ads are put on there site

eGO absolutely has control on WHO puts ads on their site, though, and if this particular provider is being flagged (by anything), it probably couldn't hurt to sever that connection.

yeah! i've scanned with malwarebytes and it's clean..
those ads were already there since i joined eGO and i never clicked, this warning message never showed up until now..
and that is what worries me..

I've had that warning pop up several times but I just proceed anyway. Nothing has really happened to me.

I think it means there's an ad on eGO that is on a domain that was scanned and appears to have malware on it.

That said, I haven't ever recieved that error and I'm sure the partition of the domain that is on eGO is pretty safe.

Ziant drop box this or send it to Council it would be better spent there since it has direct contact with the people who can fix it. They dont always look at every forum so i would send it to them.

acknowledge! will do this immediately!

I have ads disabled on every site I visit, so I don't really get this message.

When you see this message, in no way is it indicating you've been infected by anything.
It's a prior warning message Google has built into Chrome, that's all.

If you use Google's search engine, some of the pages that show up have been condemned by Google as well and when you click on the link anyways, the same red page shows up.

Uhh.. how to disable ads? Like what you did.

Using either Chrome or Firefox (maybe Safari has one, too?), you can download an Add-On/Extension called Ad-Block Plus, it works wonders. You'll almost never see ads on any websites, including good ol' Facebook.

On Firefox it's also much better at blocking ads that play before online videos, as well.

Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb
