DoD:S and l4d2 make my steam crashed

When i wanted to play DoD:S and l4d2 it make my steam crashed.Can you guys help me please?

System:
Intel core i5-460m 2.5ghz
Nvidia Geforce GT 415M
Windows 7 home premium 64bit
4GB of rams

What happens if you exit steam, delete ClientRegistry.blob from your steam folder, then open steam again?

Its updating,but when i going to launch dod and l4d2 it also make my steam crashed.

Right click Steam, go into Library. Once you're there, right click DOD:S, go into properties and then uncheck "Enable Steam Community In-Game" - This will show you if the steam overlay is causing the crash.

1.Yes it only happens if i launch l4d2 or dod
2.Windows 7 home premium 64bit

this happens to me... you need patience, the game loads after of a minute or more...

No,after i press launch and show the preparing game and it crashed.
