UFC 135: Jones vs. Rampage. Your pick?

UFC 135 is next Saturday and I was just curious on what you UFC fans' predictions are for Jones vs. Rampage and Hughes vs. Koscheck.

I'm not a big Rampage fan after seeing him on TUF coaching. So I may be a little bias toward Jones. But I think Jones' speed will be too much for Rampage and I think Rampage will have trouble getting close enough to do real damage to Jones. So I'm going to say Jones wins, TKO strikes, 3 minutes in to first round.

I think Hughes and Koscheck is an interesting fight. I really dislike Koscheck's attitude outside of the cage, however, it seems that after fights he generally is well mannered. I've always liked Hughes and I think he possesses much more skill than Koscheck, but Koscheck probably tops Hughes in speed and stamina due to the age difference. Hughes claims to be in the best shape of his life though (what all old fighters say, right?), so it should be interesting! I'm going to say Hughes wins by unanimous decision due to controlling Koscheck and keeping him on the ground most of the fight.

Usually when I make predictions on fights, I am so far wrong that I look like an idiot, so here's to getting one right!

I agree with the Jones/Rampage prediction, except I call 3rd round UNLESS (and it's a big unless), Rampage can the Pride version of himself, then it's a whole new game. If Rampage throws with bad intentions and can take some damage on the way in, it's a matter of numbers. Let his hands fly and wait for one to connect, all it takes is one. Plus no one has ever really tested Jones' chin, Rampage can. But like I said, it's a long shot to happen.

I think your right. It's all going to depend on which Rampage shows up to fight. I've really not been impressed with his last 3 fights, especially against Evans.

Rampage is my favourite fighter, I think he's one of the most entertaining guys in the UFC, and I like his style. However, Jones is going to win 2nd rd tko. Unless Rampage can get in close and ping him against the cage in the first round.
