So I was listening to Concerto in F Minor, and it got me to thinking about SimCopter. Yes, I just drew a link between a musical work of art by Bach to a Will Wright Sim game. For those who never played it, it's a game where you're a helicopter pilot completing a variety of different tasks in the city. This can include catching criminals, medical transportation, being a heli-taxi, and if you knew some of the easter eggs, fighting off aliens in an Apache. This game came out back in 1996, and provided me hours of fun and immersion. Thinking about the game made me wish there was a sequel to it, and that brings us to the thread's title:

What games do you wish there was a new sequel for, or an updated version of? SimCopter, SimTower, and SimGolf come to my mind. Not SimFarm though, that game was too boring for its own good...

P.S. Anyone know of a similar game to SimCopter, or a way to install it onto Win7? I still got the original disc somewhere around my home...

SimGolf for sure... I loved that game. My courses were always insane though... But I still got my SIM discs around... I wonder if these things play on WIN95 as I'm about to install it to play some Mechwarrior 2 :D

SimCoaster and themepark weren't really enjoyable to me...

EDIT: Just realized I have Sid Meier's SimGolf, not the original from 96. Still fun as beans.

Freedom Fighters...seriously don't announce a title if you're not going to follow through.

Brutal Legend. You leave the ending ambiguous as to if the characters live happily ever after or not YET YOU DON'T make a sequel? WTF Double Fine.

Heart Of Darkness, a great platforming adventure game similar in feel to Oddworld, yet very very dark. It would have fit in great with the PS2 as a 3d adventure game.

Black from PS2, developed by the same people behind the Burnout Series. A great single player experience in the style of Black Ops WAY before its time, it even had environment destruction when most games around that time were still stuck on whether to have bullet penetration or not!

Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 1 & 2... Wish they would of continued the series. One of my favorite flight sims of all time.

A true Colin McRae Rally game... To me the Dirt series blows compared to its predecessor.
