Yay BF3 Beta coming soon
Nay Why Operation Metro, they needed to test their 64 player conquest mode and their servers.
Yay I knew the date was going to be before the 30th which in all cases is in September
Nay Why only 10 days
Yay I get 12 days to play go MOHLE FTW and for those who getting BF3 off origin(which is me also)

Well I'll cya all in-game but I shall knife each and everyone of ya and yes I know the same will happen to me. Oh I hope the changes they made since Alpha will help.

i think ppl are thinking too much about the map. theres still tons of ppl out there who didnt get to play alpha (like me) so im happy i get to play bf3 before it even comes out.
and i think ppl should be glad dice didnt make it a closed beta. everyone gets to play the game before its released and thats a good thing imo. especially with a great game like this.

He's so right, there doesn't HAVE to be a Beta, and even at that, it could be closed with only about 100-200 people allowed to play.

For those who disapprove of Metro Rush, we all understand that you got to play it in Alpha and that you're eager to play the 64 player Conquest, and we all want to as well.

However, those of us who didn't get to play Alpha, we just want to see the game for ourselves, on our own computers, and at least get a taste, regardless of the map or game mode.

Honestly, I'm with you all who want the 64 player Caspian Border. Im a die-hard Battlefield 64-man Conquest player, but I'm just glad I get to see/play it before it's out.

A lot of us, including myself, have been on the sidelines watching the epicness that is BF3 on Operation Metro - Rush Mode for the first however-many gameplay videos, and I can't wait to set foot ingame for myself.

I think its going to be separate, i read mention of a demo area within origin (which I cant find) but if you have early access youll be getting an email with instructions.

General Beta Info

Beta will not start at 00:00.

Between 2-3 gig beta client.

You can not UPDATE alpha client you need to re-download the new Beta Client.

Netcode is totally rewritten and new.

No level limit @ beta.

Cant join as a Squad if the Team is full so battlelog groups won?t get split.

Gameplay Info

Autoheal on all vehicle?s after 10-15sec.

Vehicles autoregeneration ONLY under 75% Health.

Unlocks are for WEAPONS not for the classes you can not unlock red dot sight on gun1 and use it on gun 2.

Operation Metro got changed and has a new Layout, thats why they want to test balance again.

You have more then 1 knife animation, from behind, on the ground and you can NOT counter the knife attack.

You can still throw grenades to hear enemys yell.

You can not cook grenades.

You can join with friends on a server.

Friendly fire is On as the default setting.

Misc. Info

You can use 3 screens if you have enough graphic power.

Next 1-3 weeks will be talking about new maps.

Caspian Border IS NOT THE BIGGEST MAP.

No Bombs on Jets.

When you get kicked you can see the reason in Battlelog.

Ranked Servers can be changed to unranked Servers.

Battlelog application for iPhone.

Battlelog can be updated without patching the game so we can get new stuff faster.

No weather or time changing in game.

No comment on the Battlerecorder.
