Battlefield PC Beta Discussion Thread

81% here and started mine at 11 EST.

I logged into BattleLog and saw that you can now import your Origin friends when online instead of having to find them in 2 places.
 
Uh yep, still waitin for meh key....,, Patiently, trying not to headbutt my monitor..... Got my drivers all set up.
 
I'm going crazy with happy! The beta is so fun! SUPPORT CLASS WOOT! COVERING FIRE!
 
Loving it so far. Couple bugs, just had a client crash...but overall...fun. Running on high settings, getting 50-60fps with a GTX 460. AWESOME!!
 
Downloaded new ati drivers and now my primary monitor has crazy glitches - flashing bars at the bottom of the screen.

Oh yeah - also bf3 won't launch and says I have to reinstall. NNOOOOO!
 
So for the BF3 beta, is it just the multi-player or are we able to play the single player campaign as well?

Game crashes every half hour or so.
Bugs with moving around on rocks while prone.
Won't let me bind keys to my mouse.
 
Anyone feel the damage rate is way off?

Seems to take much longer to kill people from a distance in the beta, than it did in the alpha.

I unloaded 10 single shots (all registered) into a guy with an M16 and he didn't die.

Then I get random times when someone will kill me with 1 bullet with an M249 or an AK74M..etc

O_o Seems kinda weird

Besides that, I love it.
 
Looks like the sniper shotgun is still in the game. Got killed as a Attacker when the Defender was around where MCOM B was in the Alpha.
 
So far no complaints. Bullet damage seems fine to me, and I haven't crashed yet.
 
Had fun playing so far today. The graphics are stunning even on low. There are several bugs/issues that I've noticed, which hopefully they will fix before launch.

I think dmg is off. It's most noticeable when people have upgrades weapons and get's pretty annoying to be one shot.
 
It feels like it takes half a clip or more with any assault rifle to kill someone, but every time I get killed it's only a couple bullets. Very frustrating.

Overall enjoying it very much though. Visuals and audio are pretty amazing and I'm surprised how high I can push the settings with my older video card (5770)
 
Can't even be in a game because battlelog fails to launch my game correctly so i sit at "joining server" for 10 minutes T_T, and on the off chance it does, I get timed out about 30 seconds later while trying to bind my keys...

I got my beta key via the PS3 version. You don't want to know how bad it looks....
 
Its good so far, runs smooth on high settings with a single 560Ti, Dont like operation metro that much and the buggy ground in P1 is pretty annoying.
