Gears Of War 3 Good?

Its great so far, and they cleaned up the multiplayer mishaps from the 2nd game as well.

I haven't tried the mp yet but the campaign so far is amazing. It's by far the best Gears of War game.

Lemme change this title "Gears 3 = AMAZING" better. To answer your question, the horde mode is basically the same. In many ways it is different though. You may use your cash you gain by killing things to by fortifications such as turrets, barb wire, decoys, etc. To defend your position. In Gears 2 I quickly got bored with horde mode by round 20 or so. Horde mode in Gears 3 is very fast paced and keeps me going and having fun from start to finish. Yes get this game.

I doubt it, Epic tries to blame piracy for why they won't port them to pc. I believe it's because Microsoft wants to keep their console exclusive game all to themselves. I'd rather play it on the 360 anyway, third person shooter controls just feel weird with a m/kb.
BTW if anyone wants to play some co-op or multiplayer my gamertag is IrateDonnie.

The best game I have on my xbox! I am level 31 in multiplayer, but I'm working on the campaign. The campaign is especially wonderful and I am not even half-way done. Multiplayer is great as well, I love how you need to work together to win. You can't really use techniques learned in call of duty in this game. You will quickly die. Although some things in multiplayer need some updates. Such as the sawed off (I know, I know), but you don't even have to be aiming at the person to kill them in 1 shot..
I was just playing the Battlefield 3 beta on the xbox, and I did not like it. I know that it's beta, but the beta lasts until a few weeks before the official release (What more can they change?). Currently, I prefer Gears of War 3.

Sawed Off is insanely frustrating to play against... It's basically a bunch of no skilled people that use it. They need to make a Old School game type so we don't have to play them.

Stop getting in so close, use your ranged weapon
I agree w/ you DigitalDead, if you know someone has a sawed off, you have to switch your play style around and stay out of range. But you don't even have to be aiming at the person to get a sawed off kill, I can get kills with my eyes closed w/o breaking a sweat.. They should nerf the range on it.
