Cool...guild Phase 2 started!

Please tell me those weak minded fools on the (eGO) Republic side will be our main adversaries!

For the EMPIRE!

Weak minded... :( and yes that has already been taken care of on both sides

I'm so light side I need to wear sunglasses at night, son.

I don't know if I been hanging around star wars people too much or if that was actually kinda funny. But lol.

Though on a technicality the light side aren't weak minded, otherwise sith conversion methods would be too effective for them to keep up with. Their actually just strongly misguided.

hmm never thought about it that way

I'll say, us eGO Republicos are heavily outnumbered so far, so it's going to be even sweeter when we crush the Empire folks into dust.

in WOW they care beared it up and forbid ganking people from ego of the opposite faction... same will happen in SWTOR cause ppl will whine and complain eventually.

For the most part, I would be okay with a policy against ganking opposing eGO faction members, where ganking is defined as a MUCH higher-level character assaulting easy prey (with little to no gain by doing so).

Although, considering the atmosphere and membership of eGO, I would hope this wouldn't need to be enforced or called upon at all... gankers are losers.

my greatest gank in WoW: ZERRRGGG. we had some 30ish dudes at levels 30-50 and we went around attempting to gank 50-60 juuuust to see what would happen. Confusing ensues

I wonder if we can pull that off in swtor

The bigger they are, the harder they fall ;)

You seemed to fail to realize that the republic at this moment in history is the same size. So the same could be used for you jedi bantha fodder. The empire will rule all. For the Emperor!

He was speaking in reference to my post in which I was talking about the size of the eGO Guilds for each faction, not the overall populations at large :P

the guilds will eventually even out depending on what type of server we get landed on

"Type" of server?

Also, how so? Force people to switch from one side to another? Or just recruitment within the game?

The former scenario doesn't sound very friendly, and the latter is still subject to player populations on either side, completely out of our control.

I'm not complaining at all, the imbalance doesn't bother me a bit, but your statement piqued my curiosity :P

The type of server I was mentioning is dependent on how recruiting goes. I would not force anyone to another guild. And on release day numbers will be going up up and up

Yeah im with medviah on this. These numbers so far will not guarantee that all who have applied so far will play, will enjoy the side they are on, or that recruiting numbers will not change once game has released. I'm sure what we are seeing so far is tip of the iceberg.

I strongly feel this has the potential to be one of the best mmo's created so far. In which after so many years of eventual boredom i will erect a banner for bioware on my wall over my computer in honor of their accomplishments over the years.

Oh and as far as the ganking goes, it is the same as griefing when its done over and over to those of lower levels that have no chance whatsoever to stop it. I mean if you have someone just hounding you asking for it. Sure, slay the cocky fool. But when you camp their corpse just to be an ass, that's griefing. Thus our members who partake in it should be dealt with accordingly as griefing is not in eGO's repertoire. But making it totally hands off on other eGO members? I think that's a bit much.

That is one epic toilet you got there.

@Plug Funny you would say care beared when it was rampant ganking, ruining the fun of other players. But hey, that depends on the side of the story you hear. Created enough drama and whining than I cared for, to be honest. I'm sure there will be a fair balance in SWTOR. Like Reverend said, it's the camping aspect that really marks a person as a griefer, depending on the situation (or repetitively killing lower-level players as he described)
