Looking forward to jets?

Im not very exited about jets mainly because im TERRIBLE at flying anything, except the UAV in BC2. But a tip for anyone else who cant fly, try Battlefield Play 4 Free.
"Why?" You ask, and I has answer.... P4F has Jets! Hopefully the controls are similar to BF3 or i have wasted many hours of my life....:cursing:

Indeed. I never played BF2, nor do I have intentions to, but everyone says they were great fun. As long as the game doesn't lose balance and they uses are fair, I can't wait!

You missed out on an awesome game of its time. Joint Operations which was even before BF2 was also very fun. (Had every vehicle imaginable except Jets lol)

I'm not really looking forward to it because I am terrible at flying, and good jet pilots rain down deadly bombs from above. In BF2, I did a lot of I/O servers.

From what I heard they took out Bombs in BF3 so Jets should not be so OP in good hands anymore.

I am looking forward to it a lot. For anyone who has flown with me in a chopper you know how good I am at flying! I bet I can do that same trick where I come inches from the water after a long dive like I do in a chopper but in a jet. I could also twirl around in the air before I level out too. In all seriousness though I can't wait to rain fire on any objective that my teammates call air support on.

im excited for jets as well, looks like i really need to invest into a joystick so i can be pro at flying. played bc2 alot on ps3 and was amazing with the controller and when i got onto the pc i crashed hardcore lol, still having troubles flying helicopters with mouse and keyboard

I think Jets are going to be a non factor in most situations, it removes someone from the playing field at the infantry level and can't really hover to take points like choppers can. I'll be happy to see them flying around because that means it's 1 or 2 less people to worry about going through to get to my objective. That and someone, somewhere, will figure out how to shoot them out of the air with a guided rocket launched by infantry without lock-on... and then I'll learn how.
