Weapons Discussion #1: Uzi vs. PP2000

This is a faceoff of two very similar Engineer weapons with very similar specifications. Which one do you like more? Why?

The Uzi does more damage, which comes in handy at long range when fire rate (which the PP2000 excels in) doesn't matter as much, since you usually have to fire with bursts to maintain accuracy at such ranges. However, it still has more recoil, which balances them out. When it comes to looks, I prefer the Uzi...but looks aren't everything. The PP2000 has a .45 second shorter reload time, which, honestly, can be the difference between life and death. In addition, it has 8 more rounds, and those can also be the difference between living or dying. The Uzi ironsights are nearly impossible to use, and the PP's aren't much better, but I can use them to SOME extent at least. In conclusion, I can't say one is better than the other in regards to damage/accuracy/recoil, which is the way it should be. Right now, I'm leaning towards the Uzi for purely cosmetic reasons (looks and sounds are SOOOO much better than the PP2000) and the extra damage; however, I can tell you in good conscience I'll switch back the the PP2000 at some point. Now, the question becomes: what about you? Which gun does eGO favor?

PP-2000, the sight is much better than the UZI in my opinion. The rate of fire also helps it deal a ton of damage, but it eats up ammo quickly.

I prefer the UZI for mid to long range and the PP-2000 for short to mid range shots.

As for the sights, I almost always use the red dot unless I'm laying AT mines. When I'm not using the red dot I'll go with the UZI because I hate the PP-2000's sights.

I prefer the UZI. Also, the iron sights for it are easy to use. Back when I had bc2 on xbox, that was my first silver and up. Haven't been able to play it much on pc though, various issues and high ping >_>

I had mixed feelings about the pp-2000 when I was platinuming it but in the end I did really enjoy it. Right now I am using the 9A-91 and really like it. I have yet to really use the uzi so I can't really say which one I like more but I did like the PP-2000 a lot but as Ram said it does run out of ammo really fast which causes me to run around Heavy Metal repair tooling people to death or trying to find ammo.

PP-2000 just won me over, was trying to use it and actually found I like it,with an acog site I got rather good with it , rather quickly. Usually takes me awhile to adjust to weapons, but, not with this one

Uzi's good, I like it, but when I went to PLat out the 2000, it only took5 days. The paintball gun has a accuracy, definite high rate of fire for kills, but you need an assault in tow to keep ammo. Uzi doesn't eat ammo as quickly but doesn't drop enemies as fast either.
