Ive been on egypt with ya all night. Us admins are the soul of egypt. The only hope for the Egyptian pubs. going too a server without an admin is like going too an ice cream parlor and them serving waffles! (i know thats the future but thats not my point) we need admins! I have a dream one day Egypt will be the eGO hideout were we will all party and Activate and Noise will give free hats too all! and Dinosaurs will fly out of the sky shooting scatterguns at you. Thats the future of eGO! Im sick of every time i go on Egypt, the only other admin there is Bond! Admins must hope of Mesa and go get some sun out in beautiful Egypt! Yes, i know this Speech was bootiful

Y U NO EGYPT?!

Because Egypt is boring. and it smells. and sand gets in your shoes. and clogs up your gun.

2Fort is better. See at 2 fort when you are running around and pyros are making you all hot and sweaty with their flames. or you get tired of lobbing grenades around the corner out of paranoia or even you're machine gun gets too heavy you can always go downstairs and hang out in the nice cool water. The water stays at a constant 78 degrees. The perfect temperature for cooling off. It's really the place to be. you get to hear sloshy noises so you know when bad guys are coming. And your toes can get all pruney from sitting in the water too long! It's perfect. Plus mister warts hides out down there. the cutest water frog ever!

I'm a fan of 2fort, but I play on Egypt fairly often. I agree, the server is difficult to fill and it clears out easily.

Mesa is exclusively close quarters except for a one out of thirty skirmish below, which makes it a gross map.
Mesa is so cramped. And it gets really old quickly. There's no vertical strategy at all, and that's boring. <_<
Egypt is close quarters and chokepoints but it's also FREE SKIES EVERYWHERE.
You can build sentries on top of pillars and hide in corners and put teleporters just out of spy reach and flank the offense 5 different ways and use the piece of metal on cap point A Stage 2 to get behind the heavy medic and crit melee the medic and Rocket jump everywhere and sticky jump everywhere and avoid all the fighting and ignore the overextended defense and back cap and build 5 sentries on stage two and run nothing but 5 heavies 6 engineers and a pet pyro and say deal with it and use a rocket jump to chase a spy that just went invisible and ACTUALLY GET HIM ANYWAY with the Market Gardener and most importantly use any weapon because none of them are just useless on egypt, unlike mesa where half the weapons/ strategies are just wasted effort.

Plus you can't use the mantreads or the market gardener AT ALL on mesa, instant turnoff.

Ill admit, Egypt isnt my fav its my 2nd favorite after Valve Maps but that never has people on it so Egypt ftw!

Yea.. valve maps is in a worse condition than egypt, when that fills, it's almost exclusively of eGO people, and even then it empties in like an hour. = =" Also unrelated, the new 2fort server is also often devoid of admins, and in general seems most likely to get out of hand . Also, Egypt makes me cry. K.

The server is doing well at the moment. I helped GozGallz start it up. Hopefully it will stay populated.
