When I play BF3....

what am I doing first Singleplayer or Multiplayer?

I for one will go straight to Singleplayer because thats what I've been doing ever since I've been getting any kind of game. I mostly do it because I love the story lines and its gives me the greater feel of the game before I get into Multiplayer.
Difficulty of course will be on the highest setting possible.

Anyway just starting this thread on what you are going to do first when come October 25, 2011?

The Elder Scrolls, Deus Ex, and the Fallout series, are the single player I have played since doom2. Everything else I Never touch Singleplayer and go straight to Multiplayer.

Well first I played the Multiplayer Alpha, then I'll be playing the Multiplayer Beta, then I'll be playing Multiplayer Retail

Singleplayer in BF3 will be for whenever I play MP too much and need a break from playing against real people.

Only FPS single player I recall playing was COD4.

its the same for me kerak, i always play the single player of game b4 touching multiplayer unless one of my friends wants to do some mp like with halo games. but i like to play through the single player first because it helps me get a feel for the game b4 going online and helps pump me up for actually getting to the mp

Yeah I'm the same way as Krod and Kerak. I always play through the singleplayer first.

Single player. I may not finish the story but I will start with that. It's always how I've done it. Difficulty will probably start at medium but may go up if it's too easy.

i like SP over MP just because there is a story line. MP can get repetitive and boring

I always go straight to single player. Not only do I like the storyline behind it...it also gives me a good feel of game mechanics, controls, tactics, etc.

Well, I don't normally play singleplayer FPS games, but I'm up for anyone that wants to do the co-op missions!

I'll likely play a bit of SP just to sort out the basic's. But I don't see myself spending any time in SP unless there's wicked queue's or the servers are down or something.
