hmm i think i been playing this for half a year now and i still suck. and i seem to get the most deaths even with a high kill always a very high death rate does anyone know a tips or something and not like camping tips. (probley cause i have bad aim)

iam with the counter strike divsion but u know i like to play battilefiled as well

I got lotsa tips for ya =)

1. Play for fun, not for stats. High KDR doesn't mean much in BC2, and since it's an objective based game, KDR usually implies that the person cares more about kills than about winning. (Except for a select few people that are just freaking good in every way)

2. Squad up. If you do, do you work together with your squad? and if so, do you use them as a mobile spawn point and do your own thing? or do you try to stick with them? One thing I always do when I'm not doing well, is find someone on your team that is doing really well, and join their squad. Follow them around, switch to a kit they are not (if they're assault, switch to medic, and vice versa), and help them out. It is really fun, because you feel like you're helping, and usually kills and points will follow =).

3. Duck, hide, and take cover! One of the beautiful things about Battlefield is that if you run out and try to mow people down, you will get mowed down and people will laugh. Find defensible positions with cover (crouch a LOT) like baricades and cement blocks. Building walls are usually fine, but they can get gustav'ed so watch out. Stay low, peek out, and sprint from cover to cover. If you are in a building, don't go directly in front of the window. Instead, stand back about a foot or two so people don't see you're gun sticking out, and don't stand in front of the window too long. Get up, look for enemies, and if you don't see any for a few seconds, crouch and move, then look again in a few seconds.

4. Watch your back. Constantly be looking behind yourself. When you go into a building, look through the rooms, and once you know it's clear, turn around and make sure no one followed you.

5. Use Ambient sounds to your advantage. This is a huge help due to DICE's beautiful audio. Listen for enemy voices. Characters shout things when they throw grenades, throw down ammo/health boxes, when they're reloading, and when they use the Q button to communicate. They also respond to things like when a grenade lands near them, they'll shout "GRENADE!" or "GRENATA!". All of these things help, because with the audio engine, anything you hear is direction-sensative. If you hear it above you, then they are above you; if you hear it in front of you and to the right, that's where they are. One way I use this is by throwing grenades in buildings that I'm considering entering. If there is an enemy, you'll hear them scream, in which case I take extra caution when entering the building and usually get the upper hand =)

6. Loadout. Mess around with kits to find out what you like. (I'm usually assault/medic, so all my suggestions are based on their guns) Do you like accuracy and burst firing? Try the M16/PKM. Do you prefer fast fire rate but less accuracy? Try the F2000/MG3. Love the big hitters? Try the AUG/M60. I have a couple loadouts that I really like. I'm an accuracy and burst fire guy. For assault, I love the AEK + Dot sight + Magnum ammo. From a distance, you can burst 3-4 shots, compensate for recoil, and get another 3-4 shots. If you are good at aiming, and due to the AEK's fire rate, they'll probably be dead after 2 bursts before they can even run. For long range maps I like the G3 + dot + accuracy upgrade. I fire off single shots from a distance and can get kills in 3-4 shots. For the more close quarters maps, I like the AUG + Dot + accuracy (or magnum depending on how well I'm aiming that day) due to its quick firing and high damage. For the medic, I use SAW + accuracy + dot sight and also use quick bursts. But it's all about your play style, so try different things, and eventually you'll find something that clicks.

These are just a few things, but if you work together with your teammates, you'll do pretty well =)

Good luck, and hopefully I'll see ya out on the Battlefield =)

For me, there are two ways to play. This is also how I go about much of what I do in my life. I switch between "high risk, high reward" and "cautious and confident". In Battlefield, there are situations where running in and taking a risk to arm an objective is incredibly useful. Push up swiftly with your team and cut a swath through the enemies.

Other times it's best sit behind a rock, kill and enemy or two, move up, repeat. You have to come to terms with your playstyle and how you can get the most enjoyment out of the game.

There's nothing we can really tell you to improve your game. You'll find it inside of yourself. Patience and a steady hand are key.

o i see every time iam with a squad most of them desrest me and iam all by my self fighting the russians Lol it is fun if at lest get 1 kill but i do alot of recon (not sniping) poniting targets so that pepole know were the enemy is. that or just my aim :)

If you're playing recon in hardcore, spotting takes a backseat to just flat out removing those targets. You have motion mines, abuse them every chance you get. Bind your map key to a spammable button like ~ or something to that degree so you can toss a mine and spam that button constantly to get a rapid update of enemy positions. Once you have those positions in your head, start to systematically pick them off 1 by 1 in a manner you find to be "safe." This sounds like a lot of stuff going on and that it would take time to do this but the majority of players who play hardcore aggressive recon do this in their heads almost instantly as they look at the map.

Another thing is using your kits loadout to the absolute best advantage possible. That means that instead of going for that super awesome quad kill on a group of enemies that are about to get steamrolled anyways by your team you should head towards the flanking point or objective building and start opening a path to your next objective or creating one for your team, all while throwing motion mines in key locations to protect/analyze the situation for your team.

Weapon suggestions would probably be Gol if you're taking the slow and steady approach or if you like using ACOG/RDS on your sniper rifle. Otherwise, aggressive recons should be running sv98 for medium/long range situations (arica harbor/laguna presa/etc..) and SVU for other more close quarter maps. If you're going to snipe from a distance, put that 12x scope on and pick up the M95 or M24, they are hands down the best for it, Gol is great as well if you're a fan of it.

If you're planing on rushing in with something other than a sniper rifle, such as an all-kit weapon, take the speed improvement kit loadout, magnum, and alt-w/v-smoke with whatever it is you're running with. This gives you the speed advantage in regards to getting to a point to motion mine an area before the enemy team has a chance to set up a decent guard. When you see them setting up that guard utilizing your map spamming, you jump in and release all sorts of terrible terrible things into their plan, all while your team just rushes even further in through that side. I cannot tell you how often I jump down a hill in Valpariso and take out 4-6 people and my team just rushes in and takes B almost instantly with little to no resistance. You take Alt-W if the enemy has something like a tank you might get the chance to steal because it maximizes the amount of hell you can unleash in their spawn with it. You take V-smoke if you're going after a chopper or UAV-jacking the enemy team. IF you dunno what I mean by that, you hop onto the UAV stand, take off and immediately launch smoke at the UAV stand so it takes them longer to figure out what's going on. Blow something up, then abandon the UAV and continue controlling the spawn.

If you're playing on normal; pick up either the M95 or the SVU and just get used it. Normal sucks for recon and you're going to lose a whole lot of gunfights due to other kits just simply having more bullets at their disposal and not having to aim as much. I'd suggest switching to an engineer and using the Uzi with an ACOG/RDS as well as v-smoke over everything else. Medics are a good option as well with the G36/Saw w-RDS. Assault is "meh" at best, but has more purpose in normal than recon does. IF you're absolutely set on running recon, learn all the neat little tricks and abuse your motion mines even more than on hardcore.

That's about all I got for now. :)

Lol thanks for the tips everyone if hey u need another due on ur squad u can add me (most of my ponits i get is by helping my enitre team rather then killing) and is it aright if someone from a diffent divsion played another disions game? just wondering about all these divsions after all iam quite new:)

any division is welcome in any other division's servers. Always has always will be that way. :)

squading up with me i generally a death sentence, i'm a tad bit crazy in some stuff i do...

Something that has really improved my snipering, is to use the 4x scope. Sure sometimes a bit more mag would be good... but that 4x really allows me to see enough of the surrounding area to get some kills, and quickly acquire targets.

I have a hard time shooting the side of a barn, so I usually am a gunner or driver.

or medic. :)
