Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you are having the same problem I am having with the beta. I know the beta will be full of glitches but I expected to at least get to play. Whenever I am in the battlelog browser, I find a game and I alt + enter to make it full screen. I am in the game a matter of two seconds before it crashes back to the browser and I must open up my task manager and end the program.

Anyone else having this issue?

I haven't played open beta just yet, only closed. Have you tried just changing it in your options rather than using a shortcut? Maybe even change the resolution if that doesn't help?

It isn't the full screen that is the problem, it is the crashing.

Do you have the latest beta drivers for your video card?

Yeah I figured out the problem... I have the latest drivers and an old card.. Every time I try joining a server the display drivers crash.

Downloading it through Origin was mighty speedy for me, took maybe 30 minutes with a 20mbps+ connection.

Sometimes my game crashes, but not right away like you are describing.

I usually get game crashes at the end of a round .. and sometimes in the middle of the round (Usually on Caspian Border)

Downloading it through Origin was mighty speedy for me, took maybe 30 minutes with a 20mbps+ connection.

i has a 3 mbps connection, dsl and the bit torrent file is 3.5 gb not sure the size of it through origin

I can't believe how badly this game is performing for me. Lowest settings, latest drivers, can't even maintain 50fps with a 6-core AMD, 16gb ram, and a 1gb 6850.

It doesn't seem to allow v-sync to enable, either. I can't bind any of keys to anything other than the defaults. The user experience, between Origin/browser and the complete inability to get into the menu unless you're ALIVE and standing there helplessly, is really atrocious.

No idea what I'm going to have to do to get this thing running right, but the game itself is still Battlefield and fun when it kinda manages to work. Good ol' beta fun times

lol got origin and found out beta was same size on origin as the torrent ill just wait for the torrent to finish instead of downloading the same size file and taking just as long oh well seeing how i have to be up at 5:30 am est to get up for work i may see like a little bit of the beta today if i can get in -.-

I have a video card that is almost 4 years old, it can hardly run Direct X 10 and if it does run it is not even worth it. No beta for me fellas, hopefully I will get a new card by the time release rolls around.
