General Event Information​

• Who can come to the events?
  • Battlefield events are open to any all eGO members. All you need to do is be in eGO and have Bad Company 2.
• Do I have to sign up to come to events?
  • For weekly events you are free to come and go as you please during the course of the 2 hours. Coming in partway through the event may put you at a disadvantage as you may be entering the middle of a round but other than that there is no consequence.
  • Tournaments and Scrims require sign ups. Scrims are typically first come first serve but sometimes the team is decided by lottery. Tournaments almost everyone who wants to play will be accomodated.
• What the rules for the events?
  • All Edgegamers rules apply during events.
  • Please listen to all of the EC's instructions because the events all have special instructions that must be followed in order for the event to work. Failure to follow their instructions will result in removal from the event.
  • ECs are the only ones allowed to use admin commands during the event. You may only use admin commands if the ECs allow you to.
  • ECs have final say in running the event. Please do not complain.
• Where will the events take place?
  • The events can take place in anyone of our servers since we have no event server. In the case that no server is empty the ECs and Leadership will determine which server to take down. Please be in vent to get the server information.
• How long do events last?
  • Weekly events have a time limit of 1.5 hours.
  • Tournaments tend to take about 2.5-3 hours but may run longer depending on the type of tournament and how well directions are followed.
  • Scrims have no set time period. If you plan to attend a scrim please be available for at least 2-3 hours.
• General Event Tips
  • Since weekly events have a time limit, I suggest being in vent about 15 minutes early so that you may secure a spot and learn the rules so that the full 1.5 hours may be dedicated to the event.
  • Since Tournaments take a lot more people to be coordinated please be in vent 30 minutes prior to the actual start so that things may run as smoothly as possible.
