So, last week some of you on the DoD:S servers might have noticed i was gone for a few days...


Well, this was what I was u to

I recently purchased a train horn kit from www.hornblasters.com and installed it on my truck!

I mounted the 2gal air tank and the air compressor in the back behind the drivers seat...

I mounted the compressor On/Off switch on the right side of the steering wheel

and the honk button on the left side...

It took a full 2 days to run all the air lines and the electrical lines, drill a hole through the firewall, and mount the horns u front using custom mounting brackets.

The kit was about $350. I also paid the UPS 3 day shipping fee and the package actually showed up a full day early! Can't beat that!!

....how loud is it do you ask?

I think he's saying you basically just admitted to a crime. I'm not too sure, but isn't scaring the hell out of pedestrians with disturbing noises illegal?
 
The horn looks like its mounted well. I just bought the "horn blaster - Wake the dead." Can't wait to get it installed. Thank you for posting this. :)

well its pretty mean to buy a horn, just to scare the pants off people. seems kinda immature to me
 
That could be one out of 2 intentions. And hey, EVERYONE has thoughts like that every now and then, why not let him? Were not all perfect. Like i said before, grats on the horns, hope you have fun :)
 
Depending where you live you could get a ticket for doing that. Car horns are for safety.

Anyway, it's a cool horn and all but those videos are pretty stupid. If you did that to me I'd have half a mind to track the car down and drag my keys across the doors.
 
Sweet horns. I've been a set when i get my new car. Or if i go back OTR im going to get a set for my Big Rig.
