Beta stats Reset?

When the full game is released is there official proof that the stats will reset? Just wondering.

I haven't seen it posted anywhere, but you can rest assured, they will reset the stats come release. I'm not sure of any beta in all of PC gaming's history that carried stats/unlocks from a pre-release over to the actual release.

It wouldn't be fun nor fair to have some people starting at Rank 60 and others starting at 0. Also, the rank progression is not accurate to the final version. They made it easier to rank up to allow people to be able to test a wider variety of weapons/unlocks.

Will my stats carry over from the Beta to the full game?
No. We are still fine tuning the ranking system and we don't want to give the Beta players an unfair advantage when the full game launches. You will keep your soldier name though.

So, we are not carrying over the stats because the rank progression system as well as the persistance score is going to be reworked based on feedback from what we?ve seen and what feedback we have collected.

Besides, you get to enjoy all the fun levels over again when the final game ships right ?

I have yet to see a beta that lets you carry your ranking over to the final release.

Don't worry, there will be players that will spend 72 hours playing, getting all the unlocks and ranking up before Europe even gets the same on the 27th.

Battlestar Galactica Online did, lost a lot of people due to that and really dumb changes.

They definitely will. There is no PB and there are tons of HACKS out for the BF3 beta. The good thing is that since origin is basically spyware I believe they will be md5'ing the hacks and banning anyone that had the hacks on their computers. This will make the people that tried the hacks have to get a new Key
