So I was wondering if we have anyone with there HAM radio licence in eGO. I'm a Technician myself. I don't use it as much as I should, got a handheld radio. I use it when I'm hiking and backpacking, also volunteer for communications for the Twins City marathon for the past years. I recently joined a boy scout venture troop called "K0BSA" (that's there call sign) and they will go in as communication in case there is a emergencies like a tornado that knocks out normal communications. My call sing is KD0GYY myself, like to see others here too.

I'm a newer ham. Just got my license this year. My grandfather got me involved. My call sign is KK4BAH. Really haven't had a chance to get involved yet because there's not many repeaters in the area.

Nope dont got one but it would be awesome

It's really not hard to get started. You can take the practice tests on QRZ.com and find a test location on ARRL.com. Once you get your ticket (license) you can start operating. A cheap mobile radio is all you need.
