So last night i figured it was finally time to upgrade my copy of The witcher to the enhanced edition, so i found the full patch on file front. On the description it said to put the files in the same directory and use the patcher to install the files. How do i do that exactly? i've never done this before. Also as the patch was dling i slept but woke up when it finished and the files were in a folder but when i woke up this morning to finish, i can no longer find the files.

First off, are you sure what you're doing is legal? Was the file an .exe or .zip? And make sure to check your download folders, if not redo the download. Also, make sure you have a "unzipping" program.
If it's exe (probably not) just click on it and follow through the installer. (You may have to put it in the install folder where the Witcher is at as well if it doesn't work correctly).
If its zip, then you need to find the folder of which the Witcher is installed for. Once you find it, bring the file over into the folder, right click and extract it to the current folder.
