bf3 beta....what am i doing wrong?

Ok played it the first time today, Graphics and control everything else wise awesome. Actual playing what am i doing wrong? shot a guy 5 times in the head with an AK game even recognized them as hits, he one shots me in the chest with an m16, same thing happened again shortly after only place i could even ht him was head, he again one shots me, later i shot a guy point blank with rpg no noticeable damage he kept on going like nothing happened, then later i was hiding in a corner guy walked by i shot him 3 times neck.head with pistol, he turns around and one shots me in the chest again with an m16

My pc was not lagging at all, game runs smoothly on my pc, no internet related lag my ping was low.....now how does this happen? im already off put by this game....the only close thing to a kill i got was when i emptied my entire clip into a guys chest and someone else kills him most registered as hits all i got was suppression assist

there is a post about this some where in the battlelog forums but for the life of me i can't seem to find it. I have had the same issue and general assumption is that it's due to the netcode. Look up that to find more info about it, i'll see if I can find that link.

oh thankx...its just kinda annoying..and off putting to shoot people do nothing then die instantly from them

I'd say when in doubt restart the game

there isn't any reason to be 'offput' because this is a beta, so, you tell them this problem and they will fix it

secondly there is a bug I have experienced a couple times where none of my teams markers appear so I start shooting them and then die from someone else, related?


And lastly, its a BETA, its supposed to be buggy

well i know its a beta but it just seems odd no one else is having the issue or at least not appearing to, it may have just been the server because i tried again later and did fairly well was playing at about what i get sometimes even better on bad company 2

It's a known bug in their beta, so far what i've seen is that occuring when either the person walking is glitched, or moving. they have a list of the known glitches on battlelog and one of those is that if a character is running sometimes he has the chance of the hit markers not registering on hit and vise versa. you just got to deal with it for now since they won't be doing any beta patches(as far as i know) to fix any of these till final release.

I've had the exact same problem since the beta started - but only on operation metro. When caspian border servers were active it wasn't a problem.

As a result, and also because I don't like the metro map or rush in general I haven't been playing anymore and am waiting for the full release.
