Alright, so as you know, i posted another thread about my mic not working only on steam and css. I reinstalled it which means i uninstalled steam and then installed it again to see if my mic works then. And now, i forgot my password. And his e-mail is on my steam account! I dont have any way of contacting him anymore because he doesnt play css now! i dont know his email or his email password. i cant logg into css now. and if i make a new account, i will have to reset all my points and rejoin ego! and well ofc my freinds list is bye bye... how can i get back my password? or is there no way to get it back? please please help me! and i think i know my user... not sure if it is right because i typed in my username and it said no usernames found! help!!!!!

It should work for you. Try it! 
sounds like you were using someone else's account. My guess is that steam will only email the new password to you, so if you cant open the email you will have to buy CSS and start over. Its not expensive now, I recommend getting the $29.99 bundle so you can play some DoD:S too. http://store.steampowered.com/app/240/

If you have the same password for your email AND steam account, there's nothing you can do.
Buy another copy of the game, and make sure that the password on your steam account and email address are different.

if im right, if he only uninstalled steam, css, there should still be the account folder withing steam folder (due to stuff theres not custom css files, nor steam). i.e maps. try go look where steam was and see if anything popup..

i forgot my steam acc pass . not hacked. I got hacked once already so my friend came to my house to contact steam for me. another time, i dont know why but i was stupid enough to let my friend put his email on it. Now, i have no way of contacting him to get back my pasword. i remember like the first number of my pass tho.. so do you guys think steam will believe me to give me my password?
To be perfectly honest and blunt, I think you're screwed. Even you telling us what happened sounds like a far-fetched story. So unless you can just wait for your friend to come back and send the pw to you, you're going through a gaming time out from Steam.

With the info you have provided us here and normal company policy the customer support rep will just think your trying to get someones account.
Trust me no I am noot. I trusted this guy so I let him change to his email so then when get hacked, he could get it back for me. And he actually was a good guy. He told me my paasswords, we played same servers togehter, etc. he never did anything bad. And so i believe i still do remember my first number for the password and more numbers but they just aren't in the right place (order). so its probbly yes, I am SSOoo screwed or just have to wait for him....
