I need a Desktop-sugestions?

Hey guys, as some of you guys know, I play EVERYTHING on my laptop (gmod, COD, CS:S, TF:2,etc.) This is a great computer, but the graphics are not the best, and it laggs. I am looking for a desktop in the $1 - $800 range. I need a good new, modern one. If anybody has any sugestions, I would love to hear them :thumbup::thumbup:

You should just build one. It's not that difficult and it'll save you a ton of money.

Either build or get a custom one. DO NOT buy a prebuilt computer by Dell or something like that. It's not good enough.

The easiest way to get a better answer is give us a list of what you need. I am assuming you need everything. I built my comp with 400 dollars and that included a case, power supply, motherboard, chipset, 4gig ram, and a video card. I ended up uipgrading the video card later to run better games. If you need a monitor, mouse, keyboard, and OS your looking at an easy 800 to build your own but thats still cheaper than buying a prebuilt with everything you need.

Dark and Kami should be banned for posting such terrible advice, sure buy a dell if you never want to be able to upgrade it, sure buy an alienware which is dell and over priced.

The custom build sushi posted is nice, i would prolly add another 20 bucks and get 8gb of ram other than that its similar to what i just ordered, i got a dif mobo, 8gb ram and a gtx460.

I didnt need the monitor as i have the asus 23.6" version.

but it looks like a good build that should last you quite some time

ok, thanks guys, but I do NOT plan on building my own computer. I want something that will hold enough data for mostly Gmod, CS:S and stuff. My laptop is so bad, i cant even play minecraft without it lagging.
