BF3 Hacks Already Out

Were you wondering how some people were getting all those insane kills and ranking up so quickly? This might be your answer:

Hopefully Punk-buster will be able to stop the hackers in the actual BF3 game but honestly I don't have a lot of confidence in Punk-buster anymore.

actaully BF3 dev and their team is working with Evenbalance the one who made PB they will update their system to read the hack. there alot of undetected hacks and private use and cannt find usually. Punk-buster do more better than VAC if you already lost confidence
 
Best way to combat hacks is to just keep an eye out. Most players wont use it right off the bat, buying multiple copies of BF3 at $60 a copy just to hack on servers, wouldn't be very smart unless you have a ton of money to blow buying new games.
 
That's what you get when you have a game based on a previous engine. Sure, it's Frostbite 2, but I'm sure some of the elements of the engine that allow these hacks to work still exist. Hacks will never be detected 100%, but having PB is better than not having any anticheat.
 
I wouldn't recommend linking to the actual hack site. There are dozens of hacks out already, of course there are. You can probably google it and get a whole load of sites that you can buy hacks from.

Diezel, an old friend of mine from years back I found out was actually a hacker after playing with him through numerous games. I never suspected it because he was never apparent with his use. However, in COD:MW2 he was detected, and proceeded to buy 3 more copies of the game, just because he wanted to use his hacks. He told me that's the way the hacking world is - hackers know the risk and accept the risk. He told me the site he used, but again, I wouldn't link it because giving people a link directly to a hack can cause problems.

alot of hackers use stolen accounts or pirate multiple versions of the game...most the ones that only hack foe the sole purpose to troll and ruin servers, if they are willing to do that then they are most likely willing to steal the game in order to mess with people

But that being said we just have to keep an eye, hackers will always find a way around anti cheat systems so us as privet owners of servers can only do nothing but watch for them and ban them as they show up

Amen, I'v been here long enough to see this in action time and time again, with so many new games we always have our ways to deal with them don't you worry you'r pretty little heads about it, just have fun if you see it report it, best thing you can do.

oh and get ready to get your ass served to you, I'll have my new 6950 installed for the new game ;)
 
Back when beta opened, they didn't implement the internet security, that's why all the hacks were allowed to be created sooooo easily :/
 
They are gathering info on all the players using any 3rd party program during the beta. They will get caught.

Plus with a server with active admins, the hacker problem really isn't a problem. :)
 
I certainly agree calling hackers punks. Sorry about posting up the link. I come from the mindset that if you have the Intel into what the hackers are using you can learn to detect them easier.
