Can i run BF3 relatively on medium or low with my specs?

I am wondering if its a good idea if i should buy BF3. Just because i don't want to buy it and not be able to play it on my computer. Here are my specs. I know i might have to play on low graphics to make the gameplay better, i don't really care that much about eye candy most of the time.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07 GHz
RAM: 4 Gigs
Graphics Card: 2190 MB NVIDIA GeForce 315
I have a big enough hard drive :)
And directx11
 
Definitely a desktop, and I would say no. Your GPU (Geforce 315) is not powerful enough. You need a dedicated card for it to work.
 
No, you cannot run BF3 with these specs. I highly recommend you make a Sandy Bridge build.
 
No need to. I pretty much only need a better graphics card. My processor and Ram are fine.
 
Hero have you thought about what sort of graphics card you want? More than likely if you side with nvidia you'll need a 460 or higher. If you side with amd/ati, i'd probably suggest a 6770 or up...probably a 6790 will do you a solid. You'll get good performance without breaking the bank and making a new build or buying a video card. Then again its up to you :)
 
I run a 560ti in my main rig and the beta ran great on that, if you're on a budget a 550ti would also do okay, that's what I run in my HTPC and on a 1080 screen it was able to keep up with the beta okay the couple times I tried. A 550ti would only about $125 to $150 or so.

a 550ti is pretty good, even though its optimal resolution is 1680x1050 I believe. I'm getting one to upgrade from this 8800gt i'm using, since my monitor's highest res is 1440x900. I have a flatscreen that goes higher, but I like this more:)
 
Well i go to college and don't have the money for a graphics card right now. I'm probably just gonna play it on my PS3 right now when it comes out and save up to upgrade my graphics card.
