Nice one calling me a troll, I really haven't heard that before, oh wait. Daedalus and myself get this response every day. It is a show for little girls, which you can already accept. It being a good show for little girls is not so much for adults isn't it?
I've seen it because of all the hype, to be perfectly honest it is a show for little children, it's really not something an adult should be watching or enjoying, and in this case you simply can't call "Nostalgia" on it.
Answer the following questions:
-Is My Little Pony seriously designed for mature adults?
-Would you openly admit that you watch it to real life friends?
-Would you then, start pointing out your favorite characters and such, in real life, to normal people?
-With these answers in mind, how can you call me a troll when I'm right?
I left because my computer can't play TF2 and I don't want to join another division. Next.

The creator of the show, Lauren Faust, Has made shows such as Power Puff Girls, Codename Kids Next Door, Fosters home for imaginary friends, and Worked on The Iron Giant. You are going to sit there and tell me those shows aren't just as amazing now as they were then?
She put a LOT of work into this show, and has said many times that she made it so that it can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

I watch a very well produced, highly likable cartoon with an amazing community. If you have a problem with us watching a TV show, you need to get your priorities in order.

In many ways yes. Recently a lot of newer episodes show things the community has made popular. Hell even the Equestria Girls commercial mentions the older male fans, and DJ Pon-3 (a brony made name for a background character).
Yes, and the ones I have told like the show too. Me and my fiance watch it every week together.

Well, you came here to down something people like in order to get a negative reaction. That's pretty much the definition of a troll. If you don't like the show that's fine. I just don't understand why you're still commenting in this thread.
Like Mcore said, the community is what makes watching it even better. It's kind of like eGO with less arguing.

Only if they also enjoyed the show, and if it came up. Because normal people in real life enjoy the show. I mean, you must remember, behind every anonymous username there is a real person. So using my Holmes-like detective skills I can deduce that plenty of normal people in real life like MLP.
I never used the word troll. But a troll is someone who does things for the response. To get people angry. You are coming into a pony thread and posting anti-pony comments. I can safely say there's no reason to do that other than for the reaction.
Sure. People think poorly of us because we like this show. No one said trolls were always wrong. Your opinion itself proves your own point.
I responded because I enjoy getting my thoughts out, and I love destroying arguments for poor causes and then seeing the response.

Once again, I never used the term troll, but it is applying nicely in this situation. I also use the image macro response because it fits this situation perfectly. You don't like ponies. You come into a pony thread. Why? This is literally the only active pony thread in all of eGO. It exists for discussing ponies. There is no reason for it to exist other than to discuss ponies. Therefore there is no reason to be here other than to discuss ponies.
Also, nice word. "Frolicking." Would you use this word to describe how you go about on your daily basis? Are you suggesting that in some way enjoying this show makes me effeminate? That idea is absolutely unheard of and you have changed my life by using this argument. See, I can use sarcasm, too.

Also, you probably watched not even half of it while being biased. Which is not the way to go about doing things.

I mean, I see the phrase "It, being a good show for little girls, is not so much for adults isn't it?" (the original was grammatically ambiguous so I added in commas, the sentence still hardly makes sense) but it doesn't address any whys. This is circular logic you're using here. "Being adults, watching this children's show reflects poorly on you because you are adults watching this children's show."
Is there supposed to be something inherently wrong with being an adult watching a children's show? And is there not a difference between "target audience,"(all) "perceived audience,"(little girls) and "actual audience?"(internet)

1. The Big Lebowski is about as adult as a movie can get, when you reference it, it obviously isn't a reference targeted at kids.

But really, please don't try to insult our intelligence by insisting you aren't trolling. MLP isn't discussed outside this thread and it is very easy to not click on it and avert your eyes if you don't enjoy the content. You came in here knowing full well your feelings on the show and the fans then tried to illicit negative reactions from us. That is the very definition of trolling. Your actions reflect a lot worse on you than having a particular innocent interest does on us.
