As we all are preparing for the release of Battlefield 3 let's not forget about the game that started the Battlefield Division out. As a thank you to Bad Company 2 and a welcome to Battlefield 3, the Battlefield Division Event Coordinators have planned a fun filled week of events with a twist and a Grand Prize.

Events for the Week of October 17
Monday, Oct. 17 8pm EST
Dog Tag Scrim (2 Conquest, 2 Rush, Hardcore)
Wednesday, Oct. 19 8pm EST
Class vs Class (SQDM, 4 Rounds, 75 Tickets, Hardcore)
Friday, Oct. 21 9pm EST
Secret Assassin (10 Rounds, Normal)
Saturday, Oct. 22 8pm EST
Smoke Wars (SQDM, 4 Rounds, 75 Tickets, Normal)
Sunday, Oct. 23 5pm EST
Mix Mode Tournament (Conquest, Rush, Normal, HC)

Time Zone Converter

At these events, accomplishing each event objective will earn you a designated number of points. At the end of the Events Week, we will tally how many points each participant has obtained and name a winner. All the events but the tournament are limited to a certain number of players so show up early to secure a spot in the server.



Scoring for each event is as follows:


Monday, Oct 17th, 8pmEST, Event 1
Dog Tag Scrim (2 Conquest, 2 Rush, Hardcore)

Attendance - 2 pts
Round Winning Team - 2 pts
Gold Squad of each round - 2 pts
Ace Player of each round- 2 pts

Wednesday, Oct. 19th, 8pmEST, Event 2
Class vs Class (SQDM, 4 Rounds, 75 Tickets, Hardcore)
Attendance - 2 pts
1st Place Squad - 6 pts
2nd Place Squad - 5 pts
3rd Place Squad - 4 pts
4th Place Squad - 3 pts
Ace Player of each round - 2 pt



Friday, Oct. 21st, 9pm EST, Event 3
Secret Assassin (10 rounds, Normal)
Attendance - 2 pts
Winner of each round - 3 pts




Saturday, Oct. 22nd, 8pmEST, Event 4
Smoke Wars (SQDM, 4 Rounds, 75 Tickets, Normal)
Attendance - 2 pts
1st Place Squad - 6 pts
2nd Place Squad - 5 pts
3rd Place Squad - 4 pts
4th Place Squad - 3 pts
Ace Player of each round - 2 pt

id love to get involved but I've got uni work to do and I cant really be gaming till 4 am with a lecture at 9 :(
 
I'm going to check the work schedule tomorrow and see which events I can attend.

For the Battlefield 3 prize, once all the events are over and the points tallied, I will get in contact with the winner to give you the game. Please note it may take a few days after the tournament is over to receive your key, though, you should have it within a day or so after BF3 release. Note that the more events you attend, the better chance you will have of winning one of the 3 game prizes. ;)

*If by chance the overall winner who gets the Battlefield 3 prize has already pre-ordered it, they will be able to chose a different game of their choice that's of lesser or equal value to BF3. :)

I'll definitely try and attend all of them, but I have a question, what's Smoke Wars?

Is smoke an unlockable? I don't think I have it...

you could just knife, but You have plenty of time till the smoke wars event to unlock the attachment if u wanted. The smoke wars event takes place on saturday the 22nd
 
Since it is unranked, can't everyone have all the weapon unlocks anyways, and not need to unlock them on the ranked account?
 
If we already have those games, how can we settle the issue of donating those games fairly?

I think you would still need to have them unlocked to use them, even in an unranked server

If you already own the offered game prize. You would be offered a choice of a game on steam of equal or lesser value.

So, there is no way of donating the said game to someone who needs/earns it if I do not accept the object equal to or less value of that prize? I'm more interested in just having fun and just getting a badge out of all this, and giving someone else a chance to join in on the fun--that's all. I just wanted to see if there was a fair way of dealing with this scenario, if at all possible.

I have enough Steam games, and I'd rather just buy BF3.

AGHHHHH great setup of events! but it's during my mid term week! I can definitely make fri/sat/sun but mon/wens I might miss.

If you are to win one of the prizes then it is yours to do with as you see fit. If you win and already own the game and want to give it to a friend by all means do it. If you instead want a game of equal or lesser value and the person offering the game (ie ItBurns or Panzer) are willing to give you a different game then so be it.

Wont be able to make it to the monday and Wednesday ones as I have work but will be there for everything else, great way to wrap up BC2 :)
