TF2 Update Glitches

Anyone else having issues with the game randomly crashing on you, not connecting to the item server so load out is default weapons, and screen going blue/red at random ever since this new update?

I've been trying to look up a spot to contact Valve about these issues but they don't make it easy to get a hold of them other than an email and them sending me to a FAQ section. Arrg

Not the flashing blue/red screen but other issues shown above. Very common with large updates. give VALVe a few days too fix it and itll be back to normal

the update improved loading time for me but I have to restart tf2 a couple of times before i can contact item server.

I figured out that you just change to another class, doesn't matter which, and then switch back and you items should be loaded. The game just crashed on me again and they sent a warning prior saying they were dealing with the item server and that it would be down for about 5-10 min.

I smell another update coming.

It's steam going nuts over the new update as usual, seen a lot of craziness this update, like not being able to switch servers and such-

Anyway, it'll fix itself, valve knows about the problem already, believe me.
It'll be over in a few days

Also, about the items, it seems that you can connect to the item server after doing a lot of things. I've found that the best way is either switching classes or just waiting a minute or so, it usually solves itself.

New update is being deployed. Its just client side however.

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

- Items purchased from the Mann Co. store during the window where store items were craftable have been made craftable. Items purchased from the Mann Co. store moving forward will continue to be uncraftable.
- Fixed a common client crash
- Updated localization files

That should fix any crashing issues people are having.

That was quick, I was expecting constant crashes for the next 3 days.

I have been having a few issues I get ghost props in official maps dust bowl had a bunch of bridges everywhere and sawmill has a bunch of windows everywhere to name two.

After I finish my replays I'm going to back up my maps folder and do I clean install.
It's past time to do it anyway last time I did it was in 2009. Oh and BWT where is path that the admin file is I need to back that up also.
