I still think there's something more to the paper hats. It just seemed too easy, Valve gives crate that doesn't require key & has a pretty crappy looking hat in it that is tradeable & craftable.Something smells fishy with the whole deal, I think I'll hang on to mine for a bit...just in case Valve is up to something. I'm probably wrong though, I just know Valve doesn't like to give out free hats.

Well...

Irate idk about that. They have done this before. For Christmas last year, they had holiday crates which you needed to buy special holiday keys for it. Valve gave EVERY player one. They also did this with the part hat. Which is a hat which all the classes can wear and they also included a noise maker.

However if you do change your mind, I will trade for it.

That's exactly correct. I've seen these antics on other trading forums as well. This hat is priced as a craft hat (1 Ref).
