Airsoft vs Paintball (also airsoft/painball general)

I do neither, but I am interested and know some people who do airsoft. I've looked into it, and there is an indoor place about and hour from me (when I am home from college).

Considering I would go cheap, this is the gun I would get: TSD Model 88

Also, if I do get into it and buy a better gun, I would use low to mid cap. 200-1000 bb's in one clip just seems overkill on auto (unless you have a support gun). Either that, or buy a CO2 pistol if I stick to only indoors

I've played both, I like them equally they both have their pros and cons. Paintball is more expensive while airsoft is less. Airsoft guns look a lot better however they break easier. Paintball looks odd with the hopper and the c02 but is more durable. So like I said to me, they are equal except in the damn cost.

Thats why you get a RAP4 T68 with magazine feed and in air stock.

If you play a lot, oh hell yes. The intimidation factor alone of seeing it on your gun is huge. When you shoot it, everyone will duck and look towards you. Its about as loud as a 9mm or so going off.



You also need to use a regulator for them because co2 is about 850 psi and these cant go over 500 or you break em. (found that out the hard way) Green gas can be used since its like 150 fps or so, but does not have the power or sound of co2.

I prefer airsoft over paintball because airsoft is cheaper and all my friends play airsoft. I don't know in 2 or 3 years i might buy a Rap4 or something and get into paintball, but for now it's airsoft.

Looking at some of these pictures has got me interested in Airsoft, though I probably won't be doing it anytime in the next few years since I'm too young and have no money :S
