What exactly will the console really be used for in-game? I've rarely to never had to use it in the older BF series unless it involved some tweaks to the settings. It also is limited like they said.

Edit: Only thing I can think of really positive is the chance to include a variation of a BF recorder by activating it via console in future patches/implements.

Watch your FPS and performance, if you watch a little bit in to that vid they get in to that side of it. In a lot of games it is also used for the admin commands on the server and I doubt that is changed.
