The Battlefield 3 Open Beta has come and gone. We wanted to thank you all for participating by sharing a few interesting stats.

Did you know that if we had an empty 9mm casing for every shot fired in the Open Beta, we would have enough brass to melt and build almost 3,900 SU-27 Flanker jets? Okay, Flankers are not made out of brass, but still. For more stats and figures, check out the pic below. And thanks again for playing and helping make Battlefield 3 a better game at launch!

I had a couple too. I think I could of had way more but I think the knifing system was kinda buggy. Hope they make it more streamlined. I would be next to ppl, knife, and nothing would happen. Still a great game though.

Awesome, very interesting stats there. Think i had gotten around 30 knife kills by the end of the beta. I had a hard time reading all the little details so if you want a bigger pic of it check here.

Well I contributed at least 150 knives to that 19 million.

47 Billion shots fired. I wonder what the Kills were?
