ok so i have a pc and a mac, and today i finally got steam downloaded on the mac and css along with it. But in game my mouse doesn't work, i can hit escape and my mouse works on the menu and i can knife and i use my scroll wheel to jump, and i can jump i just can't look around. I tried the mouse that comes with the mac and my mouse from my pc both don't allow me to look around. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Mighty mouse probably won't work, your mouse probably won't work unless you download the mac drivers. I don't use macs often so i cant really help.

hmm, do you have a blutooth mouse you can use? if so, try using that and see what happens

It's not a hardware issue obviously since he can use the mouse while on the menu.... On my Mac I can use the mouse only when on the menu and while chat is open. Other than that there is no difference, I can use it to look around and everything else. It might be something wrong with steam or CSS, maybe in the settings. Mine never behaved like that.

Oh and most harware on a Mac will work out of the box, as most peripherals are plug and play when used on the Mac platform. And if they aren't it will auto download the software for it. Also he mighty mouse does work with CSS, along with the wireless one, and the magic trackpad ( not that you would use that).

btw saying "get a pc" isn't solving his problem.

I have a mac only, but I only have 1 answer to your question. Play on Pc. Getting a desktop for Christmas cuz macs are terribad for gaming.

In response to all those saying "get a pc", instead of telling him to buy a new computer, just help him with the problem; there is no need to troll a thread, when we should be trying to help each other as a community.

Try running it in windowed mode, if you can. (Like others said, I do not play on Mac)

If this doesn't work let me know and I will look at other things to try and help you out.

I used the default mouse for a while. It worked, however, there were some problems with the mouse. I am currently using a Logitech G3 mouse. It works perfectly fine with my Mac Book Pro.

Hey, i had the same problem, its akll about the raw input option in mouse settings, if you cant un tick the box ( i could not then) check this website for the code in console.
