i've installed it, almost no difference at all probably by 1 ping under in the performance monitor. i don't understand.. if i do net_graph 3, should the ping be noticeably dropped? gamerail monitor says strand server is 41, game side shows 55 from net_graph 3.

This GameRail thing is so annoying! I register but when i got to the end where it says that its sent you an email I check my inbox and they is nothing there, I have tried to resend it but that doesn’t work and then I tried registering with a different email but that doesn’t work either! GRRRRR.
I emailed them yesterday to see what’s going on but they haven’t replied yet : ( is it because I’m in England that it takes a while for the emailed to be configured and sent or is that just what I’m hoping.

Any ideas to what might be going on here?

I didnt get the email. Just login and it'll work. You don't need the email on these forums. At least i didn't.

Generally I get a lowered ping but in some instances I get a higher one. :O

I tried logging in even though I didn’t have the email sent to me, it said that it was an invalid password then did the entire optimizing thing anyway! HOW CONFUSING! %-6 anyways after it was done I connected to steam (DOD) started playing and I had a little bit of lower ping however it kept freezing and connection errors kept happening, so I decided to shout at the computer and go to bed.

Just un-installed will install it again and see what happens with a fresh copy

I clicked the e-mail button a bunch bc i didn't recieve the e-mail and like a week later i got a bunch of activation e-mails. I did a tracert to see how many hops with out game rail and with game rail. With out game rail its 14 hops to kalt for me. With game rail its 10 hops. I have had ping improvements by 20 when using game rail.

I had this problem too, it turns out for some people the email just takes a really long time to get to you, it took three days for it to show up in my inbox so, just wait and be patient.
