Favorite BC2 moments?

Fellow squad mates, I am turning in my dog tags for BC2 (uninstalling). It will be some time before I get BF3 so i'll just lurk on the forum until then.

Favorite moment 1: Watching a tank slide sideways over the edge of the rock next to A, land upside down on an enemy (killing him), continues to roll over back onto its treads, then drive away like nothing happened.

Favorite moment 2: Hiding in the bushes with an AT4 between A and B, spotting the Havoc hovering, aimed at it and fired, and riiiiight before the missle hits, the HIND comes flying past the Havoc and takes the hit. The Havoc did not even notice, so I reloaded and shot it down...

On a Rush map, I can't remember what name, I was sniping the enemy advancement from a collection of rocks. Without realizing it, I had been holding the spot completely on my own and we had lost the objectives, forcing us to retreat. As I shoot one last soldiers from a group of five trying to rush me, I turn to run back to a safer position.

As gun fire heads my way and I feel death's grip around me, I look up to see a friendly attack helicopter fly overhead and rain down missiles somewhere behind me, saving my life.

Felt like an action movie.
 
1. Playing the demo on xbox 360. It was sooo fun (Port Valdez was automatically my favorite level)

2. One of the first times I played Nelson Bay (rush), probably 5-6 teammates and I were all behind the cement blocks in between B of the 1st section and B of the 2nd section. The enemies were advancing from every direction. There was constant gunfire, explosions, and screaming in every direction. Each of us would stand up only long enough to shoot down a couple enemies and throw some grenades, then we'd crouch down and get behind one of the taller blocks to reload. It was probably the most epic thing I've ever experienced, let alone in a video game.
 
My favorite was when Spetznaz was using the back of my jeep for a heli landing pad...ouch. :) I hope you get back on the battlefield soon, Swamp
 
Last Sunday I literally traced 7-9 helos in one game of rush. I have to say, it was fun, and pretty awesome...ace pin ftw!

For someone else...when I got sniped and someone (I forget who) got a 400+ marksman bonus on me. I flew.
 
I have had several 500 marksman shots with the GOL - the longest one was Heavy Metal, back of C to the treeline of A - estimated it at around 750 meters or so.
 
This one was pretty awesome in my opinion. It was when myself and this other guy decided to go stealthy (that doesn't mean camping inside a bush). When were playing on the Arica Harbour map we snuck around the contruction works and ran into warehouses whenever we thought we were spotted. It was a legitimate Solid Snake moment (which I say so myself is pretty awesome for BC2).

I remember sneaking around and stealthly assassinate someone with my knife. Oh it was awesome.
 
On heavy metal, using a shotgun, at the rocks between B and C, I get hit by a sniper, screen all red, and seeing my headshot and one mad sniper.
One other was getting two helo road kills on one game, flying the blackhawk, and smashing two snipers one on the mountain of B opposite the aa, the other up above A in the tree line, don't think I have ever laughed so hard.
 
I guess its the time when I ran over snipers in heavy metal. I mean they're not doing anything for their team so I just helped out their team morale I guess.
 
Just yesterday Maniak and I had some epic helo take down competitions and stomped around in the attack helicopters. I was happy to finally get an ace pin :D
 
1. On Heavy Metal took a tank into B from C. Came in behind the AA gun and realized there was someone sitting on it looking towards A. From 6ft away, fired one machine gun round into the AA....end of the AA moved but continued pointing towards A. Fired one more machine gun round into the AA.

Got to watch as the guy on the AA took three mouse resets to turn all the way around. Fired an artillery shell into him (from 6 ft away) once he started firing the AA at my tank :-).

2. (Heavy Metal) Parachuted from a jeep launched from the hill over the AA. Missiled the AA on the way down.

3. Road killing the same guy back to back.
 
8 knife kills in a row without a single death. Cold War, on defense, second set of objectives. Started with the UAV pilot, ended when I got killed disarming B.

I was playing Port Valdez Rush Hardcore as a defender at the second set of m-coms. I was hiding in the bushes between the construction area of the first set of m-coms and the 2nd set of m-coms as a recon I believe...Anyways V-FIN who was in my squad decides to come behind me and start knife me to annoy me. For some reason it made me jump, so I spun around and no scoped him in the head not realizing it was a teammate. Opps...:blushing:

Also.....moments in this vid I made. All footage was recorded in 1 day on a 24/7 Atacama Desert server.

Was flying the apache in between C and B heading to the frontlines. Had a gunner. We held B so didn't have to worry about the AA... all was looking pretty good and chill.

Suddenly, I find myself in mid-air, outside the chopper! :scared: I can hear the chopper's engine start to wind down. I'm panicking. Must have hit the wrong button. I'm thinking my gunner is still in there. Now I'll have to run back or do I run forward? What if he doesn't jump out? This is all in a split-second.

I stomp my finger on the key to get back in and sure enough, I'm right back in the pilot seat. Lost a bit of altitude, gunner never noticed :thumbup:

Bummer you won't be on the battlefield for a while Spetsnaz, never got your tags :P
